Announces the First Cohort of the Global Governance and AI Safety Committee

The National Academy of Artificial Intelligence (NAAI) officially announces the establishment of the Global Governance and AI Safety Committee, a high-level international body dedicated to advancing research, collaboration, and policy dialogue in artificial intelligence safety, governance, and responsible innovation.

The Committee brings together distinguished scholars and leading experts from around the world across artificial intelligence, computer science, engineering, mathematics, and information science. It aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and contribute to the development of global frameworks for safe, trustworthy, and human-centered AI.

Mission of the Committee

The Global Governance and AI Safety Committee will:
