A graduate of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 1962, he later served as Vice President there and was a visiting scholar at Imperial College London. He became an academician in 2017 and Dean at Jinan University in 2019.
93. Cao Jinde
Cao Jinde, born in November 1963 in Anhui, is a renowned expert in complex networks and systems, neurodynamics, and optimization. He is a member of multiple prestigious academies, including the European Academy of Sciences, the African Academy of Sciences, and the Russian Academy of Sciences. He is a Chief Professor and doctoral supervisor at Southeast University, where he has also served as Director of the Department of Science. Cao holds degrees in applied mathematics and has conducted postdoctoral research at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He became an IEEE Fellow in 2015 and has held numerous academic leadership roles.
