Member Zhong Ning is a senior professor at Maebashi University of Technology in Japan, serving as the director of the Graduate School and the Knowledge Information Systems Research Laboratory in the Department of Life Information. He graduated from Beijing University of Technology with a major in Computer Applications in 1982 and obtained a doctoral degree from the University of Tokyo in Japan in 1995. Since 2001, Academician Zhong has been teaching at Maebashi University of Technology and is currently a foreign academician of the Japanese Academy of Engineering.
Professor Zhong has made pioneering contributions in the field of artificial intelligence. He is the founder and chairman of the International Network Intelligence Association (WIC), proposing two new research directions, Web Intelligence and Brain Informatics, and promoting cutting-edge research in brain computer intelligence based on big data. In addition, he founded and edited international academic journals Web Intelligence and Brain Informatics.
In terms of academic research, Academician Zhong mainly focuses on neuroscience, network intelligence, machine learning and data mining, intelligent health technology, and intelligent information systems. He has published over 300 papers in internationally renowned journals and conferences, and has obtained multiple domestic and international invention patents.
Professor Zhong actively promotes international academic exchanges and cooperation. He was once appointed as a distinguished professor by Beijing Institute of Technology in China, and established the "Brain Information Smart Service Beijing International Science and Technology Cooperation Base" based on the Information Science Department. He has undertaken multiple international cooperation projects and made important contributions to enhancing the school's influence in the field of artificial intelligence.
