We are pleased to announce that Dr. Zhao Yibo, a graduate supervisor in the School of Control and Engineering at Zhejiang University, project leader at Zhejiang University Huzhou Research Institute, and chairman of Beijing Zhongke Guoguang Quantum Technology Co., Ltd., has been elected as a senior researcher at NAAI. This honor aims to recognize Dr. Zhao Yibo's pioneering research in the field of quantum information science, particularly his breakthrough contributions in quantum key distribution (QKD), quantum secure imaging, and quantum adversarial technology, providing revolutionary theoretical support and technological pathways for privacy protection, anti-interference ability, and trustworthy computing in artificial intelligence systems.
Introduction to Professor Zhao Yibo
Dr. Zhao Yibo is a graduate supervisor in the School of Control and Engineering at Zhejiang University, a project leader at Zhejiang University Huzhou Research Institute, and the chairman of Beijing Zhongke Guoguang Quantum Technology Co., Ltd; A top scholar in the field of international quantum information, whose research focuses on the core challenge of quantum communication - security proof and engineering implementation. He systematically solved multiple public problems in the field of quantum key distribution that have been unresolved for over a decade; Academic honors: Zhu Liyuehua Outstanding Doctoral Award from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Anhui Province Technology Leading Talent, and Expert of the Hangzhou Ten Thousand Talents Plan; Iconic achievement: Founder of the Quantum Key Distribution Security Proof System, leader in the development of 40MHz QKD devices, and co proposer of quantum adversarial technology.
Quantum Adversarial: Defining the Next Generation of AI Security Boundaries
Dr. Zhao Yibo prospectively proposed the "Quantum Entanglement Radar Countermeasure Technology" and published the results in Scientific Reports at the same time as the US Air Missile Research Center. This technology utilizes the quantum entanglement property to fundamentally solve the problem of traditional radar being susceptible to signal tampering, delay, and frequency shift attacks, providing quantum level security barriers for AI systems such as autonomous driving and intelligent security to resist interference and deception. The NAAI evaluation stated, "This study sets a new benchmark for reliable perception and decision-making of artificial intelligence in complex environments
NAAI senior research fellow: Honor and Mission
The NAAI Senior Research Fellow is awarded to outstanding scientists who have made global contributions in fundamental research, technological innovation, or ethical governance in artificial intelligence. The election of Dr. Zhao Yibo marks NAAI's high attention to the strategic direction of "quantum empowered artificial intelligence". His work not only lays the foundation for the large-scale application of quantum communication, but also provides key support for building a new generation of AI systems that are trustworthy, robust, and privacy protected through technologies such as quantum secure imaging and anti-interference radar.
