Julia Hirschberg, a member of the National Academy of Engineering and professor of computer science at Columbia University, has officially joined NAAI!

We are honored to announce that Professor Julia Hirschberg, a professor in the Department of Computer Science at Columbia University, a member of the National Academy of Engineering, and a member of the American Academy of Sciences and Arts, has officially joined the National Academy of Artificial Intelligence (NAAI) in the United States. Her groundbreaking research will further empower the development of artificial intelligence worldwide, particularly in cutting-edge areas such as multilingual speech interaction and affective computing.
