Theme Report 1:
《Mathematical and Algorithmic Studies of Efficient Deep Learning Techniques in AI and Applications》
Time: 9:10-9:50
Summary: Professor Jack Xin will provide an overview of mathematical and algorithmic research on quantization, distillation, optimal transport, local global attention, and particle approximation methods for constructing lightweight deep neural networks for edge artificial intelligence and scientific applications.
Guest: Outstanding Professor of Mathematics at the University of California, Irvine; Core Researcher at the Center for Computational and Applied Mathematics; SIAM Fellow; AMS Fellow; Professor Jack Xin, AAAS Fellow.
Theme Report 2:
《Multimodal Visual Fusion and Enhancement: Decomposition and General Purpose Perspectives》
Time: 11:10-12:00
Abstract: In the construction of smart cities, there is a large amount of visual information, among which visual fusion and enhancement are very important issues. Deep learning (DL) has been successfully applied in many different fields and has achieved impressive results. This speech will introduce the Visual Fusion (VisF) algorithm based on DL model and its applications in the context of SC. Firstly, we will briefly introduce the relevant concepts and algorithms. Then, we focused on researching decomposition methods and general methods for visual fusion and enhancement. Typical applications will be discussed, including image quality enhancement, object tracking, multimodal image fusion, video style conversion, and deep forgery of facial images.
Guest: Professor Xiao Jun Wu, PhD supervisor, Vice Dean of the School of Information Engineering, and Vice Dean of the School of Internet of Things Engineering at Jiangnan University.
Theme report 3:
《From Fixed to Generative Edge AI: continuing the journey for AI at scale》
Time: 9:50-10:30
Summary: From Fixed to Generative Edge Artificial Intelligence: Continuing the Journey of Large Scale Artificial Intelligence.
Guest: Senior Chief Engineer at STMicroelectronics; IEEE Fellow Professor Danilo PAU
Theme report 4:
《AI-Driven Fault Diagnosis for Rotary Machinery: Frameworks and Future Directions》
Time: 10:30-11:10
Abstract: Deep learning methods for fault diagnosis play a crucial role in monitoring and detecting the operational status of mechanical equipment. This speech explores high-precision and reliable deep learning based algorithms for identifying fault states in rotating machinery. It also addresses key challenges in deep learning algorithms, including limited training samples, feature extraction capabilities, interpretability, and multi-source information fusion for mechanical fault diagnosis
Guest: Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, Italy IEEE Fellow Professor Hamid Reza Karimi
Theme Report 5:
《The Cyber-Creativity Process: How Humans Co-Create with Artificial Intelligence》
Time: 12:00-12:40
Abstract: This speech will delve into the importance of creativity in the post information society, as well as the impact that the introduction of artificial intelligence (especially generative AI) will have on the creative process. Using the DA VINCI model as a reference for the creative process, we will discuss the different forms of contribution of artificial intelligence.
