On May 10, 2025, the NAAl International Artificial Intelligence Seminar, hosted by the National Academy of Artificial Intelligence (NAAI) in the United States, was successfully held through the Zoom platform. This seminar brought together four internationally renowned artificial intelligence experts and attracted scholars, engineers, and industry practitioners from around the world to participate online, jointly exploring the latest research progress, technological innovation, and industry applications in the field of artificiaål intelligence.
Exciting keynote speech: Focusing on cutting-edge AI technologies
Professor Jack Xin from the University of California, Irvine, introduced the mathematics and algorithm research of lightweight deep neural networks in an easy to understand manner under the title "Mathematical and Algorithmic Studies of Efficient Deep Learning Techniques in AI and Applications", providing new ideas for edge artificial intelligence and scientific applications.
Professor XiaoJun Wu from Jiangnan University gave a speech on "Multimodal Visual Fusion and Enhancement: Decomposition and General Purpose Perspectives", which detailed the cutting-edge algorithms and practical applications of visual fusion and enhancement technology in the context of smart city construction, providing new research directions for multimodal visual processing.
Professor Danilo PAU, Senior Chief Engineer of STMicroelectronics, shared "From Fixed to Generative Edge AI: Continuing the Journey for AI at Scale", exploring the technological evolution of AI from fixed to generative edge, and sparking profound thinking among attendees on large-scale AI applications.
Professor Giovanni E. Corazza from the University of Bologna in Italy, with the title "The CyberCreativity Process: How Humans CoCreate with Artificial Intelligence," explores the collaborative relationship between artificial intelligence and human creativity, opening up new perspectives for the application of generative AI in the creative field.
Efficient interaction and academic exchange
During the conference, participants actively asked questions through the Zoom platform's chat function and engaged in lively discussions with the guest speakers. From algorithm optimization to industry implementation, from technical ethics to future trends, the Q&A session fully reflects interdisciplinary and cross disciplinary thinking collisions, providing valuable academic inspiration and practical guidance for participants.
Submission and Journal Support
This seminar also received academic support from the International Institute of Engineering Psychology (IIEP), whose journal, the Journal of International Institute of Engineering Psychology, provided a submission channel for the conference. The journal covers fields such as artificial intelligence, computer science, engineering psychology, and human-computer interaction, aiming to promote academic exchange and technological transformation of related research.
Piper Jaffray
In his closing speech, the representative of NAAI stated, "This seminar not only showcased the latest achievements in the field of artificial intelligence, but also built a global communication platform. We look forward to collaborating with more institutions in the future to jointly promote innovation and development of artificial intelligence technology." At the same time, NAAI expressed sincere gratitude to the co organizers and academic support units for their contributions.
look into the future
With the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, NAAI will continue to promote the deep integration of academia and industry, providing more high-quality communication opportunities for global AI researchers and practitioners. The successful holding of this seminar marks a solid step forward in the field of artificial intelligence and lays a solid foundation for future technological breakthroughs and application implementation.
