Bangkok, Thailand, June 25-28, 2025- The four-day "2025 NAAI Academic Annual Conference" was successfully concluded at the Athena Select Hotel in Bangkok. The theme of this annual conference is "Innovation and Future of Artificial Intelligence", bringing together experts and scholars from top universities and research institutions around the world. Through eleven high-level keynote speeches and a grand award ceremony, the latest research achievements and development trends in the field of artificial intelligence were showcased.

Awards Ceremony: Moment of Honor

The award ceremony held on June 27th will bring the annual meeting to a climax, with Professor Li Shuoyan, one of the Honorary Directors of NAAI (IEEE life fellow of the International Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Emeritus Chair Professor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Distinguished Chair Professor of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, and Director of the Shuoyan Institute of Mathematics and Technology at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China), serving as the award guest to recognize outstanding contributions in the global AI field.

- Major contributions: Winner of the Turing Award in 2021, founder of high-performance computing and numerical algorithms. His software libraries such as LINPACK and LAPACK have become the cornerstone of modern scientific computing. -The establishment of TOP500 supercomputer performance evaluation standards has a profound impact on the development of large-scale parallel computing in artificial intelligence. 

-Arieh Warshel - Main contribution: - Pioneering multi-scale molecular simulation methods that combine quantum mechanics with classical mechanics, providing a theoretical framework for AI driven molecular dynamics simulations. -Its research achievements have accelerated the application of artificial intelligence technology in biomedicine and material design.

-Main contribution: A leading figure in machine learning theory research, who has made pioneering work in statistical learning, probability graph models, and distributed optimization algorithms. -Trained a large number of top scholars in the field of AI and promoted the interdisciplinary integration of machine learning with economics and biology.
