Notice on Establishing NAAI Academy Award

All member units, partners, and related institutions:

To promote innovation and development in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), and to recognize individuals, teams, and institutions that have made outstanding contributions to AI technology research and development, application promotion, and ethical governance worldwide, NAAI (National Academy of Artificial Intelligence) has decided to establish the NAAI Academy Award (hereinafter referred to as the "NAAI Academy Award") starting from 2025. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

1、 Award direction

Technological breakthrough: awarded for significant breakthroughs in core technologies such as AI algorithms, frameworks, and hardware.

Application Innovation: Commending innovative application cases of AI technology in vertical scenarios such as healthcare, education, and environmental protection.

Ethical contribution: Reward practical or theoretical research that promotes ethical norms, sustainable development, and social inclusion in AI.

2、 Selection process

Nomination stage (January March each year): Nominated by NAAI members.

Review phase (April): The International Review Committee conducts multiple rounds of evaluation based on innovation, impact, and sustainability.

Awards (May/June): The awards will be presented at the NAAI Academic Annual Conference. (will be announced before the award ceremony)

3、 Participation eligibility

Individuals engaged in AI research, development, or application worldwide are eligible for nomination.

The NAAI Award aims to build a benchmark honor for the global AI ecosystem, and invites all sectors to actively participate and work together to promote the benefits of artificial intelligence for human society.
