The third session of the NAAI International Artificial Intelligence Symposium has come to a successful conclusion: AI empowers healthcare, exploring technological innovation and challenges together

On June 5, 2025, the third NAAI International Artificial Intelligence Seminar, sponsored by the National Academy of Artificial Intelligence (NAAI), co sponsored by the International Institute of Engineering Psychology (IIEP) and supported by the University of Sheffield, King's College London and the University of Manchester, was successfully held on the Zoom platform. The theme of this conference is "The Application of Artificial Intelligence in the Field of Healthcare", which brings together top scholars from around the world to explore in depth how AI technology can drive innovation in medical research and clinical practice.

1. keynote speech: Focusing on the forefront of medical AI

The conference will hold four heavyweight speeches on the core challenges in the field of healthcare:

-Professor Li Su (University of Sheffield, UK) analyzes the dual roles of traditional neural networks and modern AI in brain imaging, dementia research, and computational linguistics in his paper "Applications of AI in Basic and Clinical Neuroscience", emphasizing the significance of interdisciplinary integration for the development of neuroscience.

2. Integration of industry, academia and research

The topics cover basic research (neuroscience), clinical implementation (pathological analysis), and technical bottlenecks (model stability), highlighting the full chain application value of AI from laboratory to medical scenarios.

3. Conversion of academic achievements

The conference continues NAAI's open submission mechanism and recommends researchers to submit articles to the Journal of the International Institute of Engineering Psychology, covering areas such as artificial intelligence and human-computer interaction, to promote academic exchange and achievement sharing.

2、 Meeting outcomes and impact

1. Technological Breakthrough: Professor Tyukin's "Post Adaptation Technology Framework" provides methodological guidance for the robust design of medical AI.

2. Clinical practicality: Professor Yin's in-depth analysis of pathological image analysis contributes to the development of automated diagnosis in precision medicine.

3. Global Collaboration: Participants from multiple countries such as the UK and the US interact in real-time through the Zoom platform, demonstrating the platform value of NAAI in promoting international cooperation.

3、 Closing and outlook

The conference was concluded at 10:05 London time by Professor Zhou Biyu, who summarized the core concept of "equal emphasis on technological empowerment and ethical responsibility" of AI in the field of healthcare. NAAI stated that it will continue to pay attention to key issues such as interpretability and data privacy in medical AI, and plans to hold a special seminar in the second half of 2025 to further deepen industry dialogue.
