Notice on the Selection Mechanism for Corresponding Members of the National Academy of Artificial Intelligence (NAAI)

Dear colleagues and experts,

The National Academy of Artificial Intelligence (NAAI) hereby announces the official application and selection procedures for Corresponding Members.

Year-Round Application

Applications for Corresponding Membership are accepted throughout the year. Eligible candidates may submit the required nomination materials at any time in accordance with the official guidelines.

Biannual Announcement

Selected Corresponding Members will be publicly announced in two batches each year:

July
January of the following year

Please note that only candidates who have completed the full evaluation process before the cutoff date will be considered for that cycle.

Election Criteria

To ensure fairness and regional representation, the following election mechanism applies:

Each nomination is subject to review by NAAI members from the candidate’s respective region;
A candidate must receive no less than 70% affirmative votes from the regional members involved in the evaluation in order to be elected as a Corresponding Member.

This rigorous process reinforces our commitment to excellence and fosters meaningful collaboration in the global AI community.
