To further advance cutting-edge research and international collaboration in artificial intelligence, the National Academy of Artificial Intelligence (NAAI) announces the establishment of a one-year online postdoctoral fellowship program, now open for applications worldwide.
I. Research Areas
The fellowship will focus on core AI and interdisciplinary topics, including:
1. Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and Computer Vision
2. Natural Language Processing, Multimodal Intelligence, and Generative AI
3. AI in Engineering Psychology and Cognitive Science
4. Applications of AI in Education, Healthcare, Arts, and Film Studies
5. AI Ethics, Safety, Law, and Governance
II. Eligibility
1. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or related disciplines;
2. Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research with academic outputs (publications, patents, or project experience);
3. Strong ability to participate in remote research, online collaboration, and regular reporting;
4. Interdisciplinary scholars and those with industry experience are encouraged to apply.
III. Program Structure
1. Format: Fully online (Remote), supervised by senior NAAI fellows;
2. Duration: 1 year (with the possibility to extend up to 18 months);
3. Support Provided:
• Access to NAAI’s academic platform (online seminars, opportunities to present at international conferences);
• Possibility to publish results in NAAI-affiliated publications and partner journals;
• Certificate of Completion as a Postdoctoral Fellow of NAAI upon successful completion;
4. Funding: This is a non-funded (self-supported) fellowship. No salary or research funding will be provided. Participants are responsible for their own research and living expenses.
IV. Application Materials

2. Research Proposal (1,500–2,500 words);
3. Ph.D. dissertation abstract and representative academic work;
4. Two recommendation letters.

VI. Deadline
