Janaka Ekanayake， Professor at Peradenia University in Sri Lanka, also serving as a guest lecturer at Cardiff University's School of Engineering, and a member of the Sri Lankan National Academy of Sciences, IEEE Fellow，IET Fellow，IESL Fellow。 Professor Ekanayake has made significant contributions in the field of renewable energy generation and integration. Published over 80 peer-reviewed journal articles and 100 conference papers, co authored 7 books. Google Scholar has been cited over 11000 times with an h-index of 45. Professor Ekanayake was ranked among the top 2% of global researchers by researchers from Stanford University and Elsevier BV in 2020. He has won the CVCD Excellence Award, the National Science Foundation Science Excellence Research Award, and seven Presidential Research Awards in 2018. Professor Ekanayake has served as a member of the editorial board for IEEE Transaction on Energy Conversion, IET Journal of Renewable Energy, Journal of Wind Energy, and Ceylon Journal of Science.
