Professor Yong-Duan Song, an American scholar and Academician of the International Eurasian Academy of Sciences, currently serves as the Director of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence at Chongqing University and holds prestigious fellowships including IEEE, AAIA, CAA, and CAAI. With a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Tennessee Technological University (1992), he has held key positions at institutions such as the U.S. National Institute of Aerospace and the Naval Research Lab. A leading expert in neural networks, adaptive control, and multi-agent systems, he has led over 30 research projects funded by NSF, NASA, NSFC, and MOST, with total funding exceeding $35 million and ¥20 million. He has published 400+ journal papers (many ESI highly cited), authored 12 books, and holds 100+ international patents. As Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, he has significantly elevated China’s global influence in AI. His awards include the China Returned Overseas Chinese Contribution Award (First Prize) and recognition as a Stanford Top 2% Scientist. His pioneering work in preset-time control and intelligent systems has been applied in industries like Huawei and China Energy Group.
