Nanyin Zhang received the B. S. degree in biomedical engineering from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 2000, and the Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, in 2005.,He subsequently became a post-doctoral fellow, and then a research-associate fellow, in the Center for Magnetic Resonance Research at the University of Minnesota before being promoted to the rank of Research Assistant Professor in 2007. His research focuses on the mechanism and application of functional magnetic resonance image.
